Mrs. Danielle Fadare

Mrs. Fadare as a Literacy Coordinator for Genvoz:
Mrs. Fadare plans and facilitates all Writing Workshops for Genvoz. She supports all directors and managers on skills including, but not limited to:
Mrs. Fadare as an Instructor at Capital City Public Charter School: Danielle joined Capital City as a Dedicated Aide in August 2014 and possesses a M.A. in Special Education with a Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at George Mason University. She has seven years of experience in schools and previously worked as a Behavior Specialist for children with Autism at the Los Angeles Unified School District. Every summer, Danielle teaches at a non-profit organization that hosts one-week camps in communities with little access to the performing arts. She supports this program because it offers children an opportunity to find and express themselves through the arts. |
Mr. Justin Lopez-Cardoze

Mr. Lopez-Cardoze as a Content Specialist for Genvoz:
While working across all departments, Mr. Lopez led Web Design Workshops that allowed Directors and Managers to feel confident in using the Weebly platform. He delegated cross-department responsibilities to Senior Executive Directors while responding to Executive Director reflections within departments to help support the Web Design process for Task Force Directors and Managers. Prior to the creation of Genvoz, Mr. Lopez taught 7th Grade Life Science standards that were directly relevant to all content published on this website. Mr. Lopez-Cardoze as an Instructor at Capital City Public Charter School: Justin Lopez-Cardoze currently teaches 7th Grade life science at Capital City Public Charter School. In the Middle School, he serves as the Science Department Chair, 7th Grade Level Team Lead, and Middle School Representative on the School’s Equity Core Committee. Outside of his work at Capital City, Mr. Lopez-Cardoze works as Clinical Faculty for Urban Teachers in collaboration with The Johns Hopkins University School of Education delivering coursework on Secondary Science curricula to Urban Teachers Fellows. Furthermore, he has worked as an Instructional Coordinator, Teacher Education Facilitator, and Corps Member Advisor for Teach For America’s Philadelphia National Institute. Mr. Lopez-Cardoze started his career in Education as a 2011 TFA Corps Member in Jacksonville, Florida. In his career thus far, Mr. Lopez-Cardoze has taught 7th Grade life science, 8th Grade physical science, 9th Grade biology, 10th Grade traditional chemistry and chemistry I honors, 11th Grade chemistry II honors/AP chemistry, and 12th Grade genetics honors/AP biology. Across the disciplines which he has taught, he has delivered lessons that are culturally-relevant, inquiry-based, and equitable to meet the needs of all students. Mr. Lopez-Cardoze holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a Biology and Hispanic Studies double minor from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While attending UNC-Chapel Hill, he was awarded the GAT Teaching Award from the Department of Chemistry. He currently serves as the 2020 DC Teacher of the Year, awarded in October 2019. |
